Loïc and Ben debate 4D Extensions

Loïc Vandereyken of Altura Software and Ben Weiss of Digital Arts and Sciences debate the finer points of the 4th Dimension external API during the second session break in the Architecture of 4D Extensions class. Loïc, the author of 4D Calc and Object Master, was an ACI US Software Engineer for eight years before moving to his new job at Altura Software last month. It's interesting to note that Loïc was responsible for a large part of the 4th Dimension conversion-to-Windows effort, which was facilitated in a large part by the Altura cross-platform libraries. It's probably safe to say that Loïc didn't have to spend much time getting up to speed in his new job.
