The David Adams Class

Boy, was this class fun! I have always wanted to take a class from David Adams, and now Webwoman and I finally got our chance. This was the "Getting the most out of 4D 6.5" class, and was it worth it. It was eight solid hours of review of 4D 6.5, with an attentive class of 80 of us listening to David's easygoing style. Speaking of his style, he sure makes it look easy. At one point when his demo software crashed into MacsBug, instead of getting flustered he used the opportunity to explain how to use MacsBug. This was the hallmark of his manner: unflappable. We can all learn a great deal from David's deceivingly low-key manner of training.

David Adams gestures characteristically while lecturing.

David takes some questions during a break.

And the content! Awesome! Like I said, it's well worth the money. David's material is inspiring in its organization and presentation. But, before I collect my $50 for saying all of this, let me just say "thanks, Dave!" Here are some more pictures...

The silly boxed lunch the hotel gave us... mmm... lunch...

David , Mehboob Alam, and Dave Dell'Aquila pause for the camera.

John Barrymore and I do a classic trick shot.

...and then pose for the camera.

Aparajita Fishman salves away on dueling laptops. (Don't be fooled; the PC is just for testing.)

Alex Sian (left), Patrick McCoy, and John Kim take a break from lunch. They're all from Dallas!

Dave Erickson (left) and Karen Zimmer show off the cool jerseys that all the 4D people are wearing.

A sight so rare I took a picture: four women at the Summit. From the left are Karen Green (aka Webwoman), Anne Percival, Weiming Bei, and Annette Knight. The three ladies on the right are all from Senacon in Sydney!

That's all for now... more to come later.

Okay, so as I write this it is Thursday morning, and getting to be time to get downstairs to hear the main keynote. I have tons of party pictures and gossip, and I'm certain there will be more interesting info after this morning, so stay tuned!
